I met Peter about 8 months ago through a recommendation from a friend and I was quickly impressed by his local knowledge, his patience, and focus on a true partnership. Peter extensively toured the market with me and provided excellent guidance throughout the process. He helped me define and ultimately find what I was looking for. Peter did an outstanding job helping us sell a family home from our parents’ estate. He came out to the house at our convenience on a weekend on two occasions, since we live out of state. Peter made it possible for us to buy a home in the Hudson Valley. He was very patient with our special – and potentially contradictory – requests to find a home that suited us as a weekend house but that would also allow our elderly parents to live there. We covered a lot of ground over a long period of time, but he never complained and was always responsive to our needs. He was more of a trusted guide than an agent. When we found our place, he walked us through the deal, offered insights on some longer term upgrades, and recommended local contractors and suppliers. Peter was our realtor throughout the home buying process. He was not referred to us, so initially we went in with blind faith, hoping he was the right person. We have never regretted our decision. He was patient with our unfamiliarity of the Hudson Valley and took the initiative to educate us, with a good cross-selection of home viewing that went beyond our initial scope, which helped introduce us to the area. We recall our first day trip with him, where he also thoughtfully included a goodie bag of healthy snacks for the trip. As we went through the viewing process, we came across a few other agents and each time, were still thankful we had aligned with Peter. I have absolutely only good things to say about Peter and Stella. I am lucky someone referred them to me because in the first meeting I knew he would be the one I would choose to sell my house. Never any pressure, freely gave information and advice and extremely patient from start to finish. I was very nervous about the whole process as well and Peter is quick to reply to any concerns I had (even if my attorneys should have been the ones I probably should have bothered at times).
